We have just put another success into the history books. On September 2 at noon we used our proprietary solution to broadcast an annual financial statement press conference for the Comarch Group. We created the solution from scratch: streaming, plugins, server-side architecture, as well as the UI. Our software allowed users from all over the world to stream and participate in the conference for 40 minutes. Additionally thanks to the hard work of our techs we took care of the recording aspect of the project.
The video stream had a bandwidth of 750kB/sec at a native resolution of 400×300px. We recorded the image to disk and published it to the Comarch website for future generations to see ;).
We created a user authentication and chat component to allow web users to participate in the conference at the same level as all present in the room.
Needless to say we conducted a whole bunch of tests ahead of time. The system did not fail, the server stood up to the task, and we can definitely call this a success.
We’re already talking to upcoming customers and planning new uses for our newest solution.
